0:00.0	I accepted Jesus into my heart around the age of five and if I close my eyes I can still see my
0:06.3	grandmother in her evening duster tucking in the sheets around my bed as she spoke to me
0:11.6	about Jesus. The prayer that my grandmother led me in that
0:15.1	night changed the course of my life because I saw that she had a very special
0:20.4	friendship with God and I wanted that too and after I invited Jesus into my life
0:26.0	my life became different partly because I gained access to God through the power of prayer. But as I grew older things changed, not overnight but slowly.
0:37.8	Disappointed, financial stress, the increasing pressures of life as a wife and a mother
0:45.0	exposed a real weakness in my walk with God. I was inclined to figure things out on my own before I turned with
0:50.0	the Lord to the childlike faith that I had when I first accepted Jesus into my life.
0:55.6	The Bible teaches us that the prayers of a righteous person are powerful and affected, and
1:01.1	I would add a personal note to that. Those prayers are the glue that keeps us close to his heart.
