Yep welcome back we welcome back. We are back with the new is helpful basics season. Good to have you

with us. My name is Pete Matthew and as ever I am joined by a man who is always helpful but never

basic mr. Roger Weeks really glad you got those run the right way Pete I've

been helpful now and again my humor is sometimes basic yeah. Basic is like now a derogatory term,

yeah, and it?

What are we talking about today?

Today we're going to be talking about choosing your first investment, so lots to cover there,

but should be fun.

I actually really like talking about this subject.

I've done like sessions with like the late teenage children of clients, know they said look will you just like do

like a hour with my kids you know just teach them this stuff which was great and by the end of

the session they'd opened lifetime ISIS and spent

foreground each of their dad's money.

Just fabulous.

They even had a couple recently, they paid off their mortgage and now they're really

looking to get going with their investment and they just didn't know where to start.

So I had an hour with them and just kind of taught on this stuff.

I love talking about it, particularly if there's a blank canvas because there are no preconceptions and

nothing we have to unlearned.
