Hey everyone, we are just about three weeks away from the premiere of Chapter 5, and we wanted to let you know a little bit about what is going on with our Patreon.

The Once a Future Nerd has been a huge labor of love for almost six years now, and much of that labor has been either unpaid or underpaid.

Ever since we hit our last stretch goal and instituted the live AskT-OA fan episodes, we've been

able to cover our recording expenses for each subsequent chapter, and we are extremely grateful

for that, but there is more that we would like to do. The more money we

take in per episode, the more will be able to give to our extremely deserving cast and crew,

and the more post-production help will be able to hire, which will hopefully let us turn our

episodes around a little quicker and just make this entire process more sustainable for us

as producers. That's why we have added a new goal on Patreon.

As I record this, we are at $406 per episode, and we are trying to get to $500 per episode,

and we would love to do that before our next chapter drops on March 24th.

So, if you would like to reward the small armies worth of work that goes into this

show and help make it more sustainable, now would be a great time to become a patron if you're

not already or to upgrade your pledge. If we do hit $500 per episode, we are going to commission

original artwork for each chapter. $3 and up patrons will get a 4K desktop wallpaper, a high-res glossy JPEG, if you will, to download

in addition to all the rewards they already get.

So if you're a $3 and up patron, that means you could be reading our next

chapter one week from now. And $5 and up patrons will get a sticker from the new artwork

that is a physical sticker. We will send them in the mail. And if you pledge $45 per episode,

you will get a poster, a real full poster that you can hang on your wall,
