We're going to start with a piece of gossip about professional football. Don't worry, we won't stay here long.

And if you don't know football, all you need to know is that there's this guy named Aaron Rogers,

who's very good at football.

In fact, he's had the kind of career where, as you get to the end of it, you have to start to think about stuff like how you'll be remembered, and where you'll be in the conversation about all-time great football players.

And in late 2022, early 2023, Rogers had a decision to make.

Should he retire as an almost untouchable legend from the team he'd played for his entire career.
