Okay, hello. My name is Jay Brown. This is Yoga Talks podcast. Welcome to it. If this is your first time here, then the next couple minutes might not mean much to you.

I usually like to start the podcast with a little check-in of sorts. Some people like it. Some people don't.

If you're not interested, then you can use that little fast forward 15 second

button. If you're using a podcast app, you can skip over. I'm not going to be offended.

But if you were listening last week, you remember maybe I dropped some ultra personal,

transparent stuff that I was dealing with, talking about trying to get a

mortgage loan to see if I could be in a position to buy a property rather than just keep

renting.

And I thought that I would be able to report to you today, the verdict. Did I get the loan or did I not?

But I don't know. I still don't know. You see, I had this whole grueling, incredibly grouchy week,

submitting documents and this whole process of getting the

pre-approval application together.

Fortunately, I had a wonderful woman working with me on this name Jenny Collins,

and I doubt that there's any reason why Jenny would ever have an occasion

to listen to this podcast, but just in case she should happen to listen to it, I want to send

her some love and thanks. She has been incredibly helpful. Let me say that dealing with a credit union

is an incredibly more enjoyable, although I shouldn't say

enjoyable. There was nothing about the experience that was enjoyable in some sense, but the fact

that it was with a credit union was definitely better than dealing with a bank. And back in the,

when the financial crisis happened, which I mentioned last week, right, I thought about it.

I thought about getting away from the banks and doing with credit unions, but it was just too

much trouble at the time and I never did it.
