So before Helena got into the next relationship she was in, she thought

abuse had to be physical. So it was hard for her to detect abuse at all growing up in these

chaotic environments that she was in. And the abuse that she endured during this relationship,

everything was disguised as care.

So it took a very long time for Helena to see what was happening

and who she was actually dealing with.
