Hey there, listeners. This is one of the beer bannets from the Minnesota Nice Heist. Are you hoping for a heap of heists?

All right, we have a guest host today on this episode.

Simon is away on vacation, so we decided, why don't we bring out our producer, BJ, to help guest host. BJ, how's it going? It's going great, Matt. How are you doing? Pretty good, pretty good. I feel privileged to be here with you guys today. Yeah, people can finally hear your voice. A lot of podcasts make a thing where you never hear the producers, but we thought, hey, let's get you in here. And you've heard so much about a heist, so you're just as much as an expert as we are.

1:13.2

Yeah, I mean, I love heist. Granted, my experience in heist wasn't always in the heist. Mine was more of being like, you know, the lookout. Yeah, so getting to that, we were talking earlier and, you know, we keep this very high standard of making sure everyone on this podcast is an expert heister. So, DJ, we'd like to tell us your

1:18.6

expertise in heisting? Sure. I can do that. To tell you the truth, I'm not much of a heister,

1:24.8

but again, like, I knew some heisters. Yeah. So I had an experience

1:28.3

back in college days, the dorm days. That's probably the height of most people's

1:32.4

in college profession. Correct. Yeah. So we're all sitting out on the balcony of our dorm. And of course,

1:38.4

it's late and people are hungry. So pizza guy shows up, nice big pizza truck, just sitting there in

1:43.6

the driveway. So he runs in to deliver a pizza. In the meantime, my good friend who will rename Nameless decides to go and grab a pizza and bring it back. And I'm like, great, we got a pizza. So he runs into the pizza car? He runs into the truck. And then he comes back out and throws it under the seat where we're standing like on a bench. You were kind of playing the lookout in this scenario. I was playing the lookout. I'm just there. But there was some thing that kind of worried that, you know, just getting the pizza may be suspicious as soon as a guy gets back into his truck. Right. So he takes it one step further and gets back in the truck. Okay. And drives off in that truck and parks it in an intersection down

2:19.1

the street. So now he's in grand theft at this point? This is correct. So as soon as we see

2:24.6

the grand theft going on, that's when I stopped being a lookout and ran to hide up in my own room

2:31.0

with the pizza at first, of course. But then, of course, he had the guys knocking,

2:36.7

and we luckily came out unscathed. So wait, hold on. When you say the guys came knocking,

2:42.5

the police showed up. Police showed up. They came to our floor because we were the guys on the

2:46.2

balcony. So, like, the lookout was like, you know, someone named like, these guys were out here.
