Hi, everybody. Welcome to another episode of Heist. I believe this is episode 22.

So yeah, it's a good one. How you doing, Matt? I'm pretty good. As you know, you celebrated my

birthday on Saturday. Yes. I'm still feeling the effects of that. I can imagine. It was a good

birthday party. So well done on that. Well done getting a year older. I won't tell anyone how old you are. 56. But, yeah, fun times. For those of you who don't know and are just wondering what we're rambling on about, this show is called Heist Podcast, where we cover heists, Heist News, famous heists, and

heist from all around the world. And I think all around the world being the operative term for

today's Heist. Matt, as you know, one thing I really like about this show and the things we cover

is when we kind of dip into a culture. Yeah. And you kind of see the entire culture of that country

through the lens of a heist.

Yes.

You know, like when we when we talked about the Swedish one with the helicopter and everything,

it kind of worked like a Swedish heist should.

You know what I mean?

It was all very well thought out and like kind of executed to perfection.

And even the like cultural difference of like punishment.

Yeah.

And remember we did that one about the Japanese heist. And it was just basically like there's people just didn't expect that. Yeah. To do a heist. And that's how it was the pulled off. Or like how many heists did we have about America after the financial meltdown and the opioid crisis that related directly back to that? Yeah. You know what I mean? Like it's always so interesting. It's kind of this like fun lens, look at things. And so today we cover a Chinese heist, the agricultural bank heist. And it's the biggest, I know you get sick of hearing this, but it's the biggest heist in Chinese history. It's not even that big. Yeah.

And it's kind of the craziest one. It's crazy. And as you would probably not be totally

surprised by with China not having a completely free press, this was a really hard one to dig up

research on. So we kind of tried to make the best of the limited

resources we could find. And I think we still tell a pretty crazy story. Yeah, totally. Before we get
