Summary

It's our 50th episode, what a wild ride it's been. Speaking of wild rides, our featured heist is one that people have been requesting since we began. The Great Train Robbery of 1963. We thought we knew all about this story, along with everybody else but it turns out we knew nothing. Did you think the Great Train Robbery was a cowboy train heist from the early 1900's like we did!? This is a great heist and at the time one of the biggest in history £2.6 million (over $50mil today) was stolen from an unsecured money train. And we made a big effort to put a Heist Podcast spin on the whole story. We also have Heist News involving Comic books and Keno and in Heist Mail we take the time to reflect on the last year, talk about our fans and what we've learned while covering 50 of the biggest, craziest heists in history. Check out this very special episode of Heist because it a really hooooot, hoooot, chuga-chuga-chuga-chuga HEEEEIIIIISSSSTT!!!!!

| 1:27.7 | We do. Yeah, we got some good heist news too. All right. Let's do it. |
| 1:32.9 | Heist in the news. Okay, so this piece of news comes from NBC News Channel 8. And the headline is, |
| 1:42.0 | Holy Handcuffs, Florida Man arrested after $1.4 million in comic book heist. That's a lot. That's a lot of money in comic books. I'd like to know if that's, you know, from that, like, value book, how they're valuing that $1.4 million. But what was the name of the comic book price guy? Was it called Wizard? Yeah, it was like Wizard, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. |
| 2:01.6 | Maybe that's from the Wizard Guide. Imagine looking up Wizard Guy. I mean, like, $100,000. I remember always getting arguments with the guy at, like, the baseball card store because he'd be like, the book sets is worth $200. And he'd be like, yeah, give you $5 for it yeah i know who you're talking about yeah okay so |
| 2:18.5 | boca rattan florida a few comic books from a stolen batman collection worth one point four million |

| 2:41.5 | Part of a collection of nearly 450 comic books stolen from a storage unit, they really valued |
| 2:46.6 | that much. You're having a simple storage unit like that. Yeah. It's all like these things don't see the light. And it's not, and that's not to defend Philip Wisebauer, who's probably just a dick who wanted money. But it is like, I mean, is there any joy in being like, I have a really expensive thing. I keep it in a storage unit. I'm assuming this guy like owns a comic book store. This is like the storage unit for it or something. Or maybe you got them inherited or something. Yeah. But still, like, I think so. You might have |
| 3:10.8 | valued them a little higher than they really are worth. See, with comic books. And do you think |
| 3:18.1 | that they've gone up in value like crazy since we were kids? Maybe. Maybe because Marr, like all those |
