What's going on, guys? Welcome into today's wise investor segment. I have recently been on a handful of calls with not only big hedge funds and a big sovereign wealth fund and some family offices and kind of taking their temperature

and what's going on in the commercial real estate market right now and just the economy as a whole.

And it's always interesting to see and most importantly just to hear and learn from these really smart wise you know we call

them smart money groups smart money investors because they've been around a long time a lot of the

times it's either generational wealth or you know in the family office space or in the hedge fund

and you know private equity and fund space.

You know, a lot of these individuals are, you know, coming out of Wall Street and coming out

of Ivy League schools and they're just extremely well capitalized and resourced and got sharp people.

So I'm always, you know, I'm the dumb guy in the room.

I'm always trying to learn and ask questions and hear and see what they're, you know, saying

And this kind of tied into some conversations I've been having recently with a small folk, right,

compared to the mom and pop investors compared to those big groups.

And many individuals that are new and looking to get in the game or just even seasoned investors

that often make this mistake at this point in the market cycle.

And we've seen it happen over the course of the last few years where the economy was

extremely strong and there was limited supply of inventory on all different types of

asset classes from single family to different commercial estate assets.

There was an insane amount of money that got obviously printed and, you know, infused into the

economy and infused into different areas of the commercial and single family real estate market sectors,

which made, you know, buying real estate a little bit easier for people to look good

because anybody can look smart and anybody can look good in an appreciating market.
