new Atlanta, I guess, super speedway style race. Wow, that was definitely not what I expected.

Because mine were, I didn't think we were going to see a lot of passing.

I thought it was going to be kind of side by side racing, pack racing, but I didn't think

we were going to see much passing outside of restarts.

And what I witnessed today was not that it was, there was passing.

I mean, as I've said here multiple times even on the podcast, I did not think that the new Atlanta was going to work. I did not picture the reconfiguration being able to produce a super speedway style race at a one and a half mile track. Just didn't think that was possible because look, the bottom line is NASCAR has been wanting to do this and trying to do this,

hoping to do this on intermediates for a long time now.

That's why they went to the whole 550 package in the first place.

I mean, Brian France back in his day had talked about wanting to have, you know,
