Today is the end of my eighth week teaching verse by verse through the book of Hebrews we're now in

Hebrews chapter 12 and verse 1 and I've got this book this is a brand new book that

we've just put out this is taking my footnotes from my living commentary which is a

computer software program and we've printed out the footnotes on the book of Hebrews, and this is a

brand new product. First time we've ever offered, it was through this series, 215 pages,

and I tell you, this is powerful. It's really, really good. If you don't understand the truths

that are in the book of Hebrews, you cannot really be a mature Christian.

That's a big statement, but that's exactly what Hebrews, chapter 5 and chapter 6, says.

You're just living off of milk and not meat unless you can understand these truths.

So I really encourage you to get this.

We've also got CDs and DVDs and a USB, and we'll give

out that information again at the end of the program. We're now in Hebrews chapter 12, verse

1, and there's no way I can summarize everything I've said, but just the 11th chapter was talking

about the heroes of faith and going back through all the people in the Old Testament

who obtained a relationship with God and miracles and rock miracles by faith, not because

they were the perfect person. It's amazing how the Old Testament law dealt so much with performance

that it left people with the mindset that

unless I do this and this and this, unless I do all of these things, I'm not worthy for God
