Welcome to our Thursday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth.

Again today I'm teaching verse by verse through the book of Hebrews. We're now into Hebrews chapter 5 verse 14 the last verse and I'm just going to spend a brief time here and then we're going to go into chapter six.

There's some powerful things we're going to be talking about today.

Let me just mention again that I've got my living commentary here.

This is a digital commentary where I've written footnotes on over 27,000 verses in the

Bible. But we have taken the footnotes from the Book of Hebrews and put them into this hard back copy so this is a

Hebrews and in my estimation Hebrews is one of the most profound books in the Bible and it is absolutely

essential for you understanding the new covenant that we have. So we've already gone through the first five chapters. We've

laid a foundation, but in the last few verses that we studied on previous days,

he began to start talking about how that Jesus would be a

priest after the order of Melkizdek. And he said people just couldn't

understand what he was saying because they were babies. They hadn't gone deep in the word of

God. They had just gotten a surface relationship with the Lord and they just weren't

prepared to receive all of the things that he had to say. So in the sixth chapter he
