| 0:23.9 | golly whoever did that woo i'm grateful for because it is like it is it's so funny that the things |
| 0:32.2 | that we get excited about it's like church was awesome today why those real know, like, yeah. If you've never been here before, we oftentimes, we do a variety of things. Sometimes we watch everything that's going on in Auburn. And sometimes we have live music and we watch a sermon. Sometimes the screens don't work and we do accidental sermons after that. Like there's a million things that we do. And we're |
| 0:54.5 | just learning and growing. Last fall, we started trying to do live worship once a month. Now it's |
| 1:01.5 | almost every three or four weeks, sometimes every two weeks. Like not next week. Next week is our |
| 1:08.9 | 11th anniversary as a church, I believe. It's 11 years, and we'll be celebrate that, |
| 1:12.9 | jumping in with what's happening in Auburn. The week after that, will be fully live here again. I will not be preaching, but for the first time, I think ever, on a Sunday morning, Miles Fidel will be here with us, and it's going to be so fun. He texted me to like 11 o'clock one night, And he's like, dude, can I come to Birmingham and preach on a Sunday morning? |
| 1:27.8 | Is that okay? |
| 1:28.4 | And I'm like, can i come to birmingham and preach on a sunday morning is that okay and i'm like yes come anytime that you want we'll love to have you and so he'll be here then and but again next week we're selling break in our 11th birthday uh as a church but for birmingham we're some of your this is your first time here you don't know this is this is about our fifth birthday there's a group of people And some of you're, this is your first time of here. You don't know. This is, this is about our fifth birthday. There's a group of people. Some of them are in the room that about five years ago started just watching online, gathering in a basement, and then they're like, maybe God's doing something in this basement. And so let's get a venue, and moved to a dermatology office because that seems like a |
| 2:01.4 | logical next step. And they said, let's go to the dermatology office and a hundred some odd people |
| 2:05.7 | show up. And then a few months after that, they're here at Rosewood Hall. We stand on the shoulders |
| 2:12.2 | of giants who have said, I'm going to follow what Jesus is doing, even if it looks like a basement, |
| 2:18.7 | to a dermatology office, to a government building, to hopefully within the next year, a new home |
| 2:24.7 | at 401 West Valley. Anybody excited about a new home for a church? |
| 2:30.9 | But speaking of that, let's go into our bringing time. |
| 3:41.1 | Now, let me tell you about the building. If you give here, this is awesome. We're a one fun church, which we have multiple churches in different locations, and we all pull our money together. So this building that we're talking about isn't just paid for by Birmingham, even though we're about $2.2 million in right now that you guys have raised, but we're still going to need more. Auburn's paying for some of it. Nashville's going to be paying for some of it. So we just pull our resources together because we want to see what God's doing collectively in the church that he's using us in right now. So they've started demo in our building. They've taken out tons of walls. Like I went in there about two years ago for the first time, and I remember thinking this could work. It might work all right. But I'm nervous because I'm not a real estate development guy. I don't know that much about real estate and I don't know much about civil engineering. So I'm like, I don't know if we can do church here. But now that they're taking the walls out, guys, we have an unbelievable home that we're going to be able to step into. And it's not going to be the end all be all. But man, what God is putting in front of us is so good. So if you've got an extra $100,000 laying around or $1.2 million, it doesn't matter. We could go five. We'll be, we're generous here. But seriously, if you want to give specifically towards the building, |
| 3:44.9 | which so many of you have, when you get on church center, just using the notes section, |
| 3:50.1 | just go, Beham, Future Home. And I'm telling you, it's not just people that seem to have a lot of money here that have given. I could tell you about some young adults who have given tens of |
| 3:55.5 | thousands of dollars. And it's just the embarrassing amount of money that they're like leveraging in their like family. It's like, I'm seating the next generation. Shoot, I am the next generation. I'm seeding my future. Like they're just holding on to it in faith. And I think it's an invitation for all of us. Let me pray for us. And then we'll jump in with what the sermon is today. Heavenly Father, you're good to us and you're kind to us. Let me pray for us and then we'll jump in with what the sermon is today. Heavenly Father, |
| 4:15.2 | you're good to us and you're kind to us and you give us favor and your spirit rest upon us |
