Welcome to our study today from Hebrews the ninthth chapter. Under the old covenant, worship took

place in a sacred tent divided into two sections, a holy place and a most holy place. Only the high

priest could enter the inner room, and that was only once a year, bringing animal blood for

the sins of the people and himself. These rituals symbolized that full access to

God was not yet open. But Christ changed everything. He entered a greater heavenly sanctuary

and offered his own blood, not the blood of animals. His sacrifice brings eternal redemption

and cleanses the believer's conscience. A covenant requires death, and his death

Praise be to God for what Jesus Christ has accomplished
