Verse four, God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles and gifts of the Holy Spirit according to his own will.

So this is in addition to, right?

The Apostles preaching, and then the Apostles' preaching was confirmed by all of these by all of these

signs right why is that here well were there any of those things in the book of

exodus yes among the well well that well, that Moses did, right?

But, right, but there was, there was, in numbers, there's this moment where the elders

received the Holy Spirit briefly and prophesy like Moses for this short time.

And that ends with Moses saying, would that all the people could receive the Spirit and prophesy like Moses for this short time. And that ends with Moses saying,

would that all the people could receive the spirit and prophesy, right?

Which now, right, has happened.

So he's drawing a contrast on that too, right?

This is an understanding of Pentecost.

This is an understanding of the transition that happens.

Right? And what was Pentecost before the Holy Spirit came? What was that feast in the Old Testament? That was the feast of

the giving of the Torah and the making of the covenant. Right. So that's why St. Paul is bringing

up that Pentecost change, right? Because Pentecost is the celebration of the giving of the law. And it's there that this prophecy was kept from numbers from the prophet Joel. Your young men will see visions, your, your sons will see visions and your

daughters will dream dreams, right?

That everyone is going to prophesy, that everyone is going to receive the Holy Spirit.

Everyone is going to have these signs and wonders that are sort of confined to Moses,

the one prophet before.
