When we get started in just a moment, we're going to be picking up in St. Paul's

Epistle to the Hebrews chapter 10, verse one.

I'm not going to spend too long reintroducing.

I know I always say that and then I do,

but still my intent is good.

So we are,

even though we left off at a chapter break

and it's a chapter break that makes sense,

we're still sort of in the middle of a topic.

St. Paul has been talking about,

and remember, I'll reiterate, he is talking about in the sense that St. Paul's epistle to the Hebrews, unlike the other epistles is more of a homily or a sermon than a written letter, even though

it's being, what we have is the text as it was sent out.

And we've talked about how, we've repeated several times now, how it's basically, we'll see

this again tonight, a homily on Psalm 110 or 109 in the Greek and

He's been talking about Christ's high priesthood sort of still the topic that we're in this chapter is going to be, the first half of this chapter really is going to be

the end of that topic.

And then he's going to move sort of into more application.

But in going through that, his jumping off point was the verse in Psalm 110,

he has made you a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek,
