When the Son of Man comeeth, shall he find faith on the earth?

Hello, my friends, and welcome back. I'm Jared Halverson. This is Unchicken.

And we've got some amazing material this week.

But before we get there, can I give a shout out to some people I got to meet last weekend?

Last weekend was the restored gathering that Faith Matters puts on.

And Faith Matters is an organization that believes in the parable of the gospel net,

where you cast the net as far and wide as you can, and you gather fish of every kind.

It is an organization that tries to invite in people of other faiths,

and people at the fringes of our faith to help them see that there is a path to God

from wherever they happen to be, that you can come unto Christ and come as you are,

but don't leave as you were, allow yourself to be changed, to be transformed by the gospel.

Well, their conference over the weekend brought together about 3,000 people from across the country,

and even around the world, who heard from speakers and incredible musicians,

and poetry readings and beautiful art, it really was an amazing experience.

But for me, I spoke there, but to me, the best part was meeting so many of you.

Thank you for having the courage to just come up and introduce yourself.

And it was amazing to just shake your hands and to give you a hug and to take selfies together

and just rejoice in our shared love of Scripture.
