Well, good evening.

And on behalf of Pastor J.D. Farag, I'd like to welcome you to our Thursday night Bible study and a live stream service.

We're glad that you are here or joining us online.

Well, we're normally in the Old Testament going through the Bible, chapter by chapter, book by book, line by line.

But tonight, we will be conducting a topical teaching.

Before we get into the study tonight, I do want to remind everyone about our next prayer meeting that will be held on the 9th of January

at 7 p.m. here in the sanctuary and I pray that you would join us here if you are able.

Obviously there is so much to pray for. I mean if truth be, we would never leave the ground.

Our hands would constantly be lifted up, and eyes are fixed on him for real and constant prayer.

I'd like to continue to pray for the various missions.

Of course, Maui, local prayers for all of us here and our families and let us not forget

Pastor J.D. Kelly and the family. So please as often as the Lord leads, let us stay in prayer.

And before we get into our study tonight, why don't we do that and have a word

of prayer and ask God to bless our time together in His Word. Father in heaven, I want to thank you,

Lord, so much for just being who you are. We can come to you for any and all things, and that's

exactly what we ought to do.

And Lord, we come before you this evening and ask that you would bless this teaching for our learning.

And Lord, for our defense, we're going to get into some touchy things, and I pray that you

would just open our hearts and ears and our minds and made this message resonate

on our souls so that we can live and be proper witnesses in this time of much deception.

So Lord, please go before me and the strength of your might and the power of your word and the power of your Holy Spirit
