It's called Heavyweight, and it's hosted by Jonathan Goldstein.

Heavyweight is all about creating space for difficult conversations.

Jonathan sits down with people to revisit a defining regret, a lost connection, or an

unsolved mystery from their life, and he tries to help them make it right. Like we do in the

secret room, heavyweight documents the many facets of the human experience, exploring real

stories from real people who reveal life lessons. The stories are funny, they're heart-wrenching,

and they're healing, and they often make you laugh

and cry in the very same breath. I am a huge heavyweight fan and a huge fan of its host Jonathan

Goldstein. Jonathan worked on another little show you might have heard of called This American Life,

and in my opinion, he's among the best podcasters out there in the storytelling space,

and I am just

thrilled to be able to collaborate with him. The story I'm about to share is from someone who was

struggling with how he should tell it, or even if he should tell it. A young man, referred to as

just ex, was only 14 years old when he took his father's shotgun, skipped school, and robbed a bank

for $40,000.

And now, 33 years later, he wants to apologize to the people that he hurt that day.
