I'd like to start with something funny. I heard about this teenager.

He had just gotten his driver's license. He asked his father about borrowing the car.

His father said, son, I'll make a deal with you. If you'll bring your grades up,

read your Bible every day, and get your haircut, I'll let you borrow it.

He came back a month later and asked about it again.

Father said, well, son, you brought your grades up. You've been reading your Bible every day,

but you still haven't got your haircut. He said, well, dad, I've been thinking about it.

Moses had long hair, Samson had long hair, even Jesus had long hair.

His father said, yes, son, and they walked everywhere they went.

Hold your Bible up. Say it like you mean it. This is my Bible. I am what it says I am.

I have what it says I have. I can do what it says I can do. Today, I will be taught the word of God.

I boldly confess my mind is alert, my heart is receptive. I will never be the same in Jesus name.
