Well, like most families, probably like your family,

we had rules in our home for our kids.

We had two overarching rules.

I've talked about this before, so I won't

believe at the point, but our two overarching rules were

honor mom and don't tell a lie.

Honor mom and don't tell a lie.

I learned pretty quick.

Honor mom and don't tell a lie covers a multitude

of other things that you don't have to talk about.

If everybody will just honor mom and don't tell a lie.

Now, we did not have rules for the neighbor's kids.

It would have been a good idea, but we did not

have rules for the neighbor's kids

because, well, they weren't our kids.

Also, like most families, and I wrote this one down

because this is a little bit convoluted.

This might be a new thought for some of you.

We did not have children so that there would be someone

to keep the rules.

Let me go over that again.
