Most Christians believe that when they die, they go to heaven, and that's it. But the Bible tells us actually a fuller story.

Where you go when you die is not your final destination.

It's actually a stop on the way to something a lot more greater and interesting.

The word heaven appears in the Bible over 500 times. Yet our understanding of that a lot of times is

very shallow or incomplete. In this video we will unpack what the Bible actually says about heaven.

Its layers, its role in eternity, and what happens after we die?

Heaven is real, but not in the way most people think. Let's start from the beginning.

There is more than one heaven. Genesis 1-1, Genesis 2 1, Psalm 191 talks about that God is the creator of heavens, plural. So is there more than one heaven?

Well, according to the scriptures, yes. Three types of heavens that we see in the scripture that's revealed to us.

Now, could there be more heavens? Yeah, but we know of three as revealed in the Bible.

The first one is the sky or the atmosphere.

Psalm 78, 23, Genesis 7, 11, 12, Deuteronomy 1117,

Deuteronomy 2812, Malachi 310 refers to the clouds and the weather systems.

So sometimes you see the word heaven in the Bible is mentioned

as talking about the atmosphere, the sky, the clouds, and the weather.

The second heaven is the spiritual realm. It's the Ephesians chapter 2 verse 2,

Ephesians chapter 6 verse 12. It's the demonic and the angelic activity that happens there.

It's the invisible realm of warfare.

And the third heaven is where God dwells, at least from what we see mentioned in 2 Corinthians chapter 12, verses 2 and 3.
