Well, several years ago, after a long season doing what I do, leading and teaching and preaching and ministry and leading through some navigating some challenging and exciting seasons, I was coming near the end of a certain season

and I had several people write me some notes

and some notes of encouragement

and some thank you letters and things like that. And one person in particularly sent me a gift.

And it was one of the more unique gifts I've ever received.

This gift was like a framed picture of a phrase.

And it was really well done. was nice was a nice picture nice

frame and in the center of the picture and the phrase was this phrase right

here it's not even a full sentence was the reality is.

And I was like, well, that's a weird thing

to send somebody as a gift.

And there was a letter that accompanied it

that talked about how much this person learned for me,

but this was the phrase that they remembered the most and I thought this was odd and so I took it home and I showed it to my wife and I said look at this this is the strangest gift I ever received and she said she looked at it and she said are you kidding me that's hilarious you say that all
