Wow, the response from Tuesday's podcast about school board elections on April 5th,

which is Tuesday in Missouri in our area, has been unbelievable.

I am so excited about this that so many people have reached out. So many people have asked,

hey, I didn't hear the name. What is this name? We've been trying to help any way we can.

I'm going to read the names again in just a few minutes after we have a guest on. We got a fun podcast here with some other cool stuff in it. but we'll start with the school board elections in a bonus podcast. Heather Eslick will join us in just a little bit.

She's running in Lee's Summit along with Jennifer Foley. Jennifer Foley was another person who contacted us. Say, hey, can I get on the podcast? She wanted to buy advertising. You know, they have budgets for their school boards. People are like, do you want to buy it? No, no, no, don't buy advertising. Let me just give your names out to everyone for free. And we'll hope that

everyone who listens to the podcast does their part, not just in going and voting, but letting people

know if you don't have a vote, especially my goodness, if you live in Kansas, you know somebody in

Missouri, call them, write the name down, call them and say, go vote Tuesday. You're registered.

It doesn't hurt. Go vote for this person on

school board. Everybody knows somebody. And this is how you can make a difference is kind of our,

you know, KKHI Army out there. Everybody can pitch in in some ways. We're going to talk about Heather and

Jennifer in just a couple of moments. They're going to take over the Lee's Summit R7 school board.

That would be awesome to get those two seats. There's eight people running for two open seats, and we're just hoping that Heather and Jennifer win the two of them, and we can make a big difference in Lee Summit, which are outstanding schools to begin with. But man, a lot of parents don't like some of the control that the school district is trying to take over their children once they

figured out the board was made up of a bunch of liberals. So it's just great stuff. More on that.

Coming up in just a moment, of course, I'll read some of these names. We've also got some

interesting news about the downtown council in Kansas City from Tony's Kansas City. One of my

favorite websites that I read every single day, Tony's

Kansas City.com. You should go there and check it out. It's a fun site. It's way cooler than me
