But yeah, it's tough, ma'am. It uh

Man, it sucks to lose to Ole Miss and anything. It does. It really does and

Here's the thing that bothers me more than that, okay,

is that this has not been a good old Miss team this year.

They've had some stretches, they've looked pretty good.

But I think really, the driving point for me is I thought maybe perhaps we had

graduated to the point that we could at least take that series.

And we nearly did.

We had our opportunities on Saturday.

Sunday was a complete whitewash.

Absolutely no excuse for what happened on Sunday.

But, you know, I think it's important that we take a deep breath.

It's so easy to be a prisoner of the moment.

I'm guilty of that sometimes too. Maybe not as much as our fans because, you know, Lucy to Ole Miss always kind of evokes an emotional reaction because you got to get up and go to work. I mean, we live in the maroon bubble here in Stargville, right? Not a lot of Ole Miss people around and those that are here kind of seen and not heard.

And so I get it.

with that, you know, obnoxious Ole Miss coworker that, you know, wants to give you a little ribbon.

And hey, you know, they've earned the right to do that. But I get that aspect of it. I really do.

And I think it's important to understand that if we're honest with ourselves, and we should be, the streak was going to come to an end at some point, and it did Sunday. But if I told you beginning of the year, hey, halfway through the SEC schedule, we're going to have seven wins.
