| 0:21.6 | Welcome to the Dr. Berg's Healthy Keto and Interminute Fasting Podcast, where Dr. Berg takes you on the journey for the truth about getting healthy and losing healthy weight. So I wanted to do a video on heart symptoms that you may not be aware of because |
| 0:49.2 | most people think about heart problems of having chest pain, okay? Or left arm pain or left shoulder pain, |
| 0:58.8 | or pain in the left jaw, or even cold sweats. So most people know these right here. But they |
| 1:06.4 | might not be aware of other symptoms, okay, that relate to heart problems. And I'm talking about a deeper |
| 1:12.4 | problem with the heart that could involve the artery becoming clogged, the heart muscle becoming |
| 1:18.5 | very rigid and losing its elasticity, or maybe the ventricle, which is the pump, |
| 1:25.8 | becoming dilated and enlarged, or the entire heart becoming enlarged. |
| 1:31.1 | So all of those symptoms can create these known symptoms, but let's talk about the ones that |
| 1:36.1 | very few people make the connection. Number one, chronic coughing while you're laying down. |
| 1:43.7 | That potentially could be a symptom of an underlying |
| 1:47.2 | heart problem. Now, also realize that this could be a calcium deficiency as well, or some type of |
| 1:53.1 | weakness within your immune system. It could be a virus. So it's not necessarily always a heart, |
| 1:58.4 | but it could be, especially if you have the majority of these |
| 2:02.5 | symptoms right here. Nausea, this could come from a lot of things. It could be your gallbladder, |
| 2:07.7 | your digestion, your stomach, but it potentially could relate to a cardiovascular situation. |
| 2:14.5 | Swelling in your lower legs or ankles, especially on the left side, because the heart |
| 2:19.3 | is on the left side. If you have more swelling on the right side, that potentially could be more |
| 2:24.5 | liver-related. What's happening is the heart is losing its function as a pump, and fluid is |
| 2:30.9 | backing up in the lower part of the body. Next one is pitting edema, which relates to this |
