Okay, this is Beth. Listen, what we live for at Living Proof is to serve people the Word

of God. We base our ministry on Hebrews 4-12 that tells us that the Word is alive and

active. We pray this message is going to serve you in some way today and that God is

going to speak through it. Thank you so much for giving us this privilege.

So I'm 37. I want to repeat verses 1-9 to you. You've seen them on the screens. You've

already heard them once last night. We want these words to come alive in us to begin to

be sewn into the marrow of our bones. I believe God is going to open our eyes to some things

that are trapping our delight because you and I this weekend are about our desires turning

into delight before God. That then he turns that delight around and brings us the desires

of our hearts. That there is something that is adapted through the process of delighting

in God that makes those requests that continue on our hearts through that delight to be inevitable,

inevitable. They are coming now or later, but they are coming. Verse 1-9, Psalm 37, do not

fret because of evil men or be envious of those who do wrong. For like the grass, they will

soon, whether like green plants, they will soon die away. Trust in the Lord and do good, dwell

in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires

of your heart. Say that with me. Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires

of your heart. Now want you to close your eyes, all locations, close your eyes and I want

you to say it from memory. Delight yourself. Anybody scared to believe that this weekend? Because

that's what his word says. And we have to believe his word over our circumstances or over

our history and have our faith renewed in verse 5, commit your way to the Lord. Trust in

him and he will do this. He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn. The justice of

your cause like the new day's sun. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him. We're
