Thank you for your mercy. Thank you for bringing us here today. We want to be changed, Lord. to see you open our eyes open our hearts to

encounter you in your word thank you Lord keep your heart with all vigilance for from

it flow the springs of life amen in the name of the

Father and the Son of the Holy Spirit amen so for more than 10 years I lived in Flagstaff

it's a a small college town a mountain town sitting at about 7,000 feet

up in northern Arizona. It's home to a great little college called NAU, shout out Catholic

Jacks, and also a ski resort called Snow Bowl. That's right. There is skiing in Arizona because there's

snow in Arizona. Sometimes a lot of it. And toward the end of those 10 years of my time up north,

I lived in the country. I lived out of the bustling downtown area in one of the sprawling

suburbs on the way to that ski resort. Now, when we got snow, sometimes five or six feet,

it just dumped on us. I would get snowed in for days. And not just like there's no school,

really fun. Like I couldn't, I couldn't leave my house because the city wasn't responsible for

plowing the dirt roads. We were outside of the city limits. So I'd have to wait for a day,

sometimes days, for my very generous and gracious neighbors to come with
