And this idea of prayer, like I do it, I check a box and I move on, perpetuates the idea that

prayer is just a lifeline and not a lifestyle.

God. Well, we're going to talk about all those things and more with my incredible guest Addison

Bevere. So Addison, before we even dive into today's contents and topic, how about you let

everybody know a little bit about who you are, what you do, and what you're passionate about.

Yeah, Kirby's so good to be here. Let's see, I'll give you the quick version. I am married. I have

four kids been married for 15 years this year. Four kids. Yeah, four kids. Thank you, ages 13 to

eight. And I'm very passionate about all things prayer, integrative faith, how faith moves into the

very real parts of our lives within the pains and the promise that we navigate through life.

And I serve as part of the leadership team at Messenger International. We basically make translated

to subset resources available to everyone everywhere. So we work in over 230 countries. We've

given away over 60 million translated to subset resources all over the world. Wow. That's

incredible. How did you get started with that kind of work with doing that? That's awesome.

Yeah. Yeah. So my parents are both authors, ministers, speakers, and they found it an organization.
