Are we right to the Lions here in a second?

I wanted to offer a word.

I know, you know, during our update, the story came up with a guy who got drafted in the NBA four years ago, but didn't play in college, went to Europe, so he still technically is eligibility.

I just give me two minutes on this, and then we'll get to the lines.

Okay.

I ask it again is how does anyone take college basketball or college football seriously at this current state of time?

Now, mind you, I mean, Diego Pavia, his behavior, has been a joke.

The fact that that kid is even still in school is a joke.

The fact that he may sue to have another year is a joke.

But think about this.

A guy who was drafted into the National Basketball Association and has played professionally in Europe is

able to now come back here, be paid more here than he'd make in Europe, and have four years

of eligibility and join a team midstream. What are we doing?

And for anyone to talk about, well, we need to get to collective bargaining and say,

it is the classic case of just because you can do something doesn't mean you should do it.

I just, I don't know how anyone can take it seriously.

And look, flip the coin and go to the other side.

Like I have applauded what Michigan did.

They knew what Landaborg was going to get in the NBA,

and they said, we'll beat that offer.

Come back to school for one year. I have no problem with it. I don't. There's no salary cap. That kid is probably the difference between being good and great, and Michigan is great, and they were aggressive. Right? We talk about the Lions, do Super Bowl things. Okay.
