There is now in Scotland a new hate speech law

a sweeping law targeting hate speech went into effect in Scotland

on Monday. Today is what is today? Today is Tuesday, correct? Yeah. And that's yesterday.

Promising protection against threats and abuse.

Hmm. But drawing criticism... threats and abuse.

But drawing criticism, this is from the New York Times.

Could have a chilling effect on free speech.

The law, which was passed by the Scottish Parliament in 2021 expands protections for marginalized groups.

So if you say something that a marginalized group in Scotland finds offensive you can go to jail.

My dear friends, you are living in a state of denial if you don't understand that there has

never been an instance of the left in power and free speech allowed. It has never existed. But people don't

learn history. What the percentage of Harvard seniors has ever heard of the Goulog Archipelago?

I would say 5% and that's a generous estimation.

It's a criminal offense to communicate or behave in a way.
