Nature magazine, I just got their daily newsletter email kind of a summary of their top stories,

and one of them was that a severe COVID infection, age is the brain.

They've done a bunch of autopsies on people who have died, not from COVID, but you know, just

died who had COVID over the last couple of years, and those people who had a severe case of COVID,

their brains look like the brains of people 10, 20 years older than they are.

The brains look older than they should because they're older than the chronological age of the

people. Mark Sumner brought this to my attention, writing about it over a daily coase.

And you say, well, what does the flu have to do with COVID?

I mean, this is an amazing story. What it turns out is, first of all, the flu that is circulating

right now is H3N2 flu. It expresses the H3N2 proteins.

And that's one of the flu vaccine typically is, you know, tweaked against three or four different

flu variations. And in fact, the vaccine I got, I'm pretty sure it was called quadrivalent,

which means that there's four, it's got four different dead flu viruses in it, or it's made
