Oh, Cross Fit, that must keep you in business.

And I say, you want to know what actually keeps me in business?

People who are usually overweight and unhealthy, and don't move.

That's actually what keeps us all in business as positions. It's not the cross-fitters that are keeping me in business.

And another thing that I usually say with that too is that, you know, yeah, okay, you have a rotator cuff problem or a her needed disc.

And not that those are insignificant, but those are problems of fitness.

And I'd much rather deal with a problem of fitness than a problem with sickness.

In this episode of Pursuing Health, I sit down with Dr. Amy West,

who is a physical medicine and rehabilitation

physician, also known as a physiatrist. Dr. West is also a Cross Fit Level One trainer and an

active participant in the Crossford Health Movement.

A little bit more background about Dr. West, she's a graduate of Harvard Medical School and

she completed her residency training and physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Harvard Affiliated Spalding Rehab Hospital.

During her time in medical school, she also earned her masters of education.
