Let's call to mind all those that we've promised to pray for, what drives the way we think and act? What feelings

maybe the desire to win or the desire for freedom control and power, that's pride, or it could be lust or the desire to be wanted or the desire to be praised. That's vanity.

It might be the need to stay busy or the need to be entertained because of your board, that sloth?

Or is it the need to talk about others?

Envy.

It could be the desire for financial security that can fall under greed or the desire to calm fears through food or alcohol or drug use. That's gluttony. Now we don't want to admit it, especially those who

claim they are thinking people, but we are controlled by feelings and feelings too often determine our thinking and acting.

And Jesus laid open the wound in our soul when he said,
