that we can't let them go and move on. Instead we become paralyzed in our pain, stuck and hurting.

But there is hope. Today, Joyce draws from her own history of abuse to share how Christ's

redeeming love can heal our wounds and bring true joy to our life. Now, here's Joyce with today's teaching.

I just had to have a breast removed because I had breast cancer, and this was like

maybe three months before I wrote this.

So now I've had this operation, and I got two more to go for plastic surgery.

The attendance at our meetings has fallen off because of the holiday season. I've had a lot of weird

feelings. My mind's been lazy. I've been bored. I've been discontent. All of this stuff seems to

have just caved in on me at once. I also feel, you notice how many times I'm saying I feel.

I almost feel that I just don't know how to pray. I really have a hard time

praying. Today it all seems to be too much. God help me. I feel like I'm going to go under,

but I guess I won't. I trust you're doing something and I underline something,

but I don't know what it is.

Probably you're wanting a greater degree of abandonment.

Well, I'm not sure I can do it, but I'm willing to let you do it

if you want to.

I just got to try to tell you some of the stuff you've got to get through if you're going to actually commit and go home and try to get from where you are to where God wants you to be.
