Well, if you listen often enough, you know we talk a lot about health and the healing process

on this show. So where does self-help end and the true healing, redemptive transformation

begin? My guest today says that the healing path doesn't rely on willpower, self-help, or self-healing.

It relies on the daily transformative power of the Holy Spirit, mightily at work within us.

He writes, while pain-filled memories and moments from our past can't be erased,

we can experience mental, emotional, and spiritual healing that lasts.

I want to just get an informal poll. I would love to know if you are in a place where some

of your stuff is surfacing these days, or you've got a real-time hurt or pain in your heart

or in your body or a past trauma that's still talking to you, or you're like, I'm not

really totally okay. I've got some more healing to do. You know, I'll go first. I would say,

that's me. I'm definitely in a process right now. Things are surfacing for me. Symptoms are
