of his very real presence in your life. You know, about 16 years ago when I first started radio,

I remember covering a story that involved a divorce, and I received several angry emails from listeners

because that was part of the story. You know, I also received some grateful, humble, kind words

from those who suffered on the other side of a

divorce. And you need to know, we weren't endorsing or advocating for divorce. It was just part of

the story. And I think we all know that there are lots of divorced Christians walking the earth

today who never wanted their marriage to end. They wanted their families intact, wanted to

press through hard seasons and come out the other side, triumphant.

But it doesn't always work that way, right? I mean, sometimes one spouse decides to walk away, break covenant, and leave the family in shambles.

And the family they leave behinds broken, hurting, and battered. And what's so heartbreaking to me is how they sometimes lose their church family too.

That's not always the case, but it should never be the case for the person who's left sorting through the wreckage of someone else's choices.

That's when they need their community the most, you know?

And a side note, if you hear about someone whose marriage is falling apart, maybe suspend judgment, pray.

And if you're close enough to them walk with them pray with them and help them

help them heal brandy wilson was married to a megachurch pastor and together they co-founded the church

that they led but then he walked away from his vows to god and to his family brandy's new book is

titled better than okay finding hope and healing after your marriage ends she writes when your life looks drastically different now there's book is titled Better Than Okay, Finding Hope and Healing After Your Marriage Ends. She writes,

When your life looks drastically different now, there's hope for a renewed joy and redemption.

Your pain doesn't get the final say. Through God's grace and power, you'll be better than okay.

Her book again is titled Better Than Okay, Finding Hope and Healing after your marriage ends.
