Welcome to Susie Larson Live, always so honored to get to spend this time with you. In fact, I look forward to bringing you conversations every single day that hopefully inspire you in your faith walk, that deepen your understanding of God's word, and that heightens your awareness

of his very real presence in your life. You know, about 16 years ago when I first started radio,

I remember covering a story that involved a divorce, and I received several angry emails from listeners

because that was part of the story. You know, I also received some grateful, humble, kind words

from those who suffered on the other side of a

divorce. And you need to know, we weren't endorsing or advocating for divorce. It was just part of

the story. And I think we all know that there are lots of divorced Christians walking the earth

today who never wanted their marriage to end. They wanted their families intact, wanted to

press through hard seasons and come out the other side, triumphant.

But it doesn't always work that way, right? I mean, sometimes one spouse decides to walk away, break covenant, and leave the family in shambles.

And the family they leave behinds broken, hurting, and battered. And what's so heartbreaking to me is how they sometimes lose their church family too.

It's not always the case, but it should never be the case for the person who's left sorting through the wreckage of someone else's choices.
