0:00.0	Healing. You mentioned the word, and anyone who is in need of healing and wholeness or anyone who knows somebody who needs healing or wholeness, they'll pay attention.
0:14.0	But healing is not only limited to Christians. The desire for healing is a desire that is longed for by all people,
0:28.4	everywhere in every culture and every nation, every tribe.
0:34.4	It's an intuitive need and desire that God created in us to need wholeness and healing, whether
0:43.6	it is physical healing, whether it's emotional healing, whether it's a spiritual healing, whatever
0:49.4	kind of healing that is desperately needed from within us. And because of that desperate inner feeling
0:57.8	and inner need for healing, modern media has latched on the Siamese twin of spirituality and
1:08.3	healing. And those have become the cry of many in our nation, if not a large proportion of people
1:16.4	around the world.
1:19.0	In fact, many successful television programs such as Oprah and Dr. Phil and so many others,
1:26.9	the reason they are successful is because they claim that they can bring healing and wholeness into relationships and healing and wholeness into lives and healing and wholeness to people.
1:39.3	That is why they're successful. And here we are in the 21st century.
1:43.6	We're beginning to feel that medical
1:46.1	technology is inadequate, that medical technology cannot heal us. And so we are willing to give
1:53.0	the so-called spirituality a shot, hoping that they can experience healing. They're hoping that they
2:00.7	can find that wholeness that they are longing for. Hoping that they're hoping that they can experience healing. They are hoping that they can find that wholeness that they are
2:03.2	longing for, hoping that they can discover the missing peace of mind that they are desperate for,
2:10.8	hoping that they can find the contentment that they want so much in their lives.
2:17.6	I want to give you just an example of how this has become a desperate cry in our nation.
2:23.7	And so many of your neighbors and your friends, that's a desperate cry.
2:27.3	I want to give you an example.
2:28.6	The University of Chicago conducted a thorough study.
