If you have a Bible, Nehemiah Chapter 8, Happy Father's Day to all the dads.

Really excited, I hope to encourage you with my message.

God has just really touched my heart as I was preparing and had all this planned out for what these three weeks would look like and as it's just changed and morphed and it's just been a discovery for me.

I've learned so many new things that I can't wait to share with you.

But NEMI, chapter 8, the title of my message is

heads up. Heads up. It says in verse 1 of Nehemiah A, all the people assembled as

one man in the square before the water gate, they told Ezra, the

scribe, to bring out the book of the law of Moses, which the Lord had commanded for Israel.

So on the first day of the seventh month,

Ezra the priest brought the law before the assembly,

which was made up of men and women

and all who were able to understand.

He read it aloud from daybreak till noon

as he faced the square before the water day

in the presence of the men, women and others who

could understand, and all the people listened attentively to the Book of the Law.

Ezra the scribe stood on a high wooden platform built for the occasion.

Beside him on his right stood.

This is my favorite when I get to read names that are hard to pronounce.

Maathaiya, Shema, Anaya, Uriah, Hokkaya, Messiah.

I always, you know, include these and don't skip over them in case there's any expecting
