Hello and welcome to the Rotowire Fantasy Baseball podcast. Today is Monday, October 9th. My name is Chris

Crawford. I am joined by my good buddy, Drew Silva. We're going to be going over some headlines,

but mostly what we're going to be doing is taking a look at these postseason baseball,

because that's what you're here for, right? You want to talk about postseason baseball.

We're going to go over

one game that's actually being played as we're recording, but we'll go over some of the other

stuff that's been going on, of course. Drew, have you enjoyed these postseason games so far?

Yeah, I mean, some surprises, but you know, like you and I kind of did a preview of these series early or late last week and

i would say it's gone kind of how i thought it would go like just jumping into it like the big

dogs in the national league are in trouble man um and a lot can change with monday's results a lot

can change while we're chatting here.

Game two in Atlanta is underway.

But yeah, like, if we just want to get into this series, the Phillies are set up so well right now.

And we'll get to the Dodgers in a bit, but you could point to some similarities between what Atlanta is dealing with and what Los Angeles is dealing with on the pitching

front. Like Spencer Strider takes the loss in game one on Saturday and now having to turn

to Max Fried in game two, he hadn't pitched in an actual game since September 21st, I believe

it was, due to that blister on his left index finger. Currently down three0 in the third inning, I guess we can give updates as we go along.

But then you've got to turn to Bryce Elder in game three.

There's a lot of inexperienced there.

Maybe piggybacked with 20-year-old AJ Smith-Schavrits.

It's not a great situation for a team that had a tremendous regular season en route to running away with

the NLE's title, but backs against the wall potentially dropping the first two games at Atlanta
