Black Monday, we saw Rahim Morris and Terry Fottano, the brain trust over there in Atlanta,

get blown out by Arthur Blank and his family.

And I keep refreshing the Adam Schaefter X account to see if there's anything else this morning.

There's not been anything else this morning.

But as we've been saying now for at least a couple of weeks, things we've heard is that

Joe Shane's going to stay, Aaron Glenn's going to stay.

There's still more of a chance that the Joe Shane thing goes south, I think, than Aaron

Glenn.

I think Aaron Glenn, as you've told me, is just not going anywhere.

Got that big contract.

There is a chance that Joe Shane, however, they could make a move there.

There was also that one Ian Rappaport report where he said that he was safe through the draft,

which was very interesting because the Jets had done that with Mike McCagnan.

They keep McCaginan through the draft and then end up bringing in Joe Douglas after that. So I'm not sure exactly what they're thinking, but one thing is for sure that if they had not hit on Jackson Dart, regardless of who wanted him more. He would definitely have been out of here. Exactly. He would have been going to go. So now they got the fifth overall pick. The last time

they had the fifth overall pick, they used it on

Kvon-Tibato and ended up selecting Evan Neal

shortly after that.

So if Joe Shane gets another

opportunity, he's got to be thanking his lucky stars because

for every Jackson dartART, there's

an Evan Neal and there's a cave on TV. And the question is for the Giants will be, do they want

to get somebody on defense and to try to build up this defense, or do they want to get another
