And I ended up binging this new series that is out on Hulu.

It's called Squatters, Get the Fuck Out of My House.

And it is so insane.

You guys have to watch it. Each episode focuses on a different story of people who were just completely screwed over because somebody had taken over their home.

And I think it is so crazy to me that that is even something that can happen.

Like the idea that someone could just walk into your house, your house that you paid for and set up camp and you legally cannot do anything about it,

that is wild. That is a flaw in the system to say the least. It is mind-boggling. Seeing the legal

battles these people had to go through just to get their own house back, like you should be able to

defend your home. You could literally have someone. This happens all the time. You could have someone

come house sit for you for a weekend or ask to come, you know, spend a day or two at your house. And they

could just refuse to leave. And you become essentially powerless. Police won't get them out.

Courts don't give a shit. Ah, that's a civil matter. Hear it all the time. And that's what's so wild. I was telling the champ when we were watching the show that it's almost like vampires in a way, right? Like you have to invite them in. You have to like let them in. But once you do, all bets are off. And there's so many things that go through your head. Like, oh, I'd shut off the power. I'd shut off the water. Shut off all the utilities. But you legally cannot. You can't do that. Because they

have rights. The person who has broken into your house and made themselves at home has rights.

The fuck? What do you mean someone can refuse to leave my house and I have to keep the lights on?

It's bizarre. Anyway, each episode is maddening. I
