with ceramics and their lives are involved around ceramics. And so I'm just stoked that we end up

hanging out together today. So welcome to the potters cast today. I kind of had a special treat

this morning. My wife was, you can hear me kind of moving around a couple of things here in my office,

but my wife comes to me this morning and says,

Paul, look at this page in this book, and you won't believe what's in there.

And I'm so I like, okay, well, I'll check it out.

And this is a book called The soul of desire by Kurt Thompson MD and anyhow Kurt Thompson wrote this book and so she's reading

it and she shows me this chapter it's called the footnotes of well it's not the chapter but it's called the footnotes of, well, it's not the chapter,

but it's like the footnotes of where you go back

and when they've got little notes on chapters.

And there's a certain chapter where they're talking

about Kinsugi, where you know,

the art of putting ceramics back together again and how that, you know,

that works.

And he's using that for an analogy for putting lives back together, which is kind of cool.

But anyhow, she says, look at this, the footnotes of this.

And I'm like reading the footnotes for this.
