Summary

We no longer live for ourselves, but for the glory of Jesus, who bought us with a price, that we might live for Him every moment, every day.

I am "the mama," the one who helps right the wrongs, listens to hearts, prays, laughs, gives all of myself, even on a "stormy day" or "stormy season," because it is part of my learned role--to care for those in my charge as Jesus did--even in the midst of the unexpected storms of life like the one we all find ourselves in currently.

This Good Friday, I pray you will know His grace, His love, His help as you join Him by laying your life down. Have a beautiful holy weekend, and a Happy Easter!

Hello my friends, it's Sally Clarkson and I am talking with you on this Thursday. We called

0:45.6

it Monday, Thursday and my family growing up and this is the night in which we celebrate

the last supper, the evening when Christ knelt on the ground and washed the disciples' feet.

1:00.7

He washed 120 toes, lovingly knowing that they did not understand what was happening or how

1:09.9

how they would be able to face his death that very evening. It's a really precious story.

1:15.8

I hope that you will take time to read it and ponder his love this weekend. But as we come

1:21.6

to this weekend, I wish you a heart filled love of Christ time with your family and a really

1:31.3

beautiful inspiration from his Holy Spirit to remember how very blessed we are that in this

1:39.7

time of difficulty we have hope that won't change. We have truth that will never be shaken and

1:47.4

that we have the presence of a God that will be with us forever. I just wanted to read to you some

1:53.4

of the blog posts that I wrote today. You can go read it to your children perhaps. Maybe it

2:00.1

would be something that could spawn some discussion. But it was a very, very precious memory to me

2:08.4

many, many years ago when I was working in communist Eastern Europe. And in this particular time,

2:15.4

we were sent into the country without any addresses because we didn't want the secret police to

2:21.3

find them. And we were often questioned by border guards and secret police. We were in a town we

2:26.3

had never been in before. It was very dark, very old, little electricity, cold, cold homes. Everything

2:33.0

was old, not a lot of food with very oppressed people. And yet it was a night I was never to forget.

2:42.2

And I just wanted to read Matthew 10, 38. If you take up your cross and follow me,
