Interesting calls. We got this week. We've got Mallory in North Carolina. We got Danielle in Canada. Danielle talks about something that I brought up in a podcast a while back in regards to in laws and children and how that all works in the dynamic.

Mallory is has a somewhat serious issue where she

lost a virginity to a dude who essentially ghosted her and she had to deal with that and that sucks. So we'll get to those calls in a minute. How have things been going with you Ashley? Are you enjoying bachelor in paradise?

I didn't even watch the last episode and I didn't care.

I didn't feel like I was missing anything. Well, this is airing on Tuesday the 11th so

and we're recording it before that. So Monday's episode has an aired yet last night's last night would have been the finale tonight is the reunion show.

So anyway, let's not talk about paradise on the shit.

It sucks this season. We're talking about Colton. Colton's our new bachelor. How about that?

I mean, listen, I know you're afraid of a lot of hate for my thoughts on this. So I don't even know if I want to talk about it.

But I feel like he is a safe option and after kind of all of the scandals that they endured during Becca's season and even with how horrible Leo turned out to be.

He's kind of the answer to all of that and not that Blake and Jason weren't great. But I think that

Colton just seems like the ideal bachelor type. It's who they've had a lot of success with in terms of, you know, he just looks the part.

You know, doesn't he? Like you see you see the polar picture of him and where he just like he looks like the bachelor and I said this when I wrote the column. I'm like when I first found out Colton Underwood was a contestant on

Becca's season and then I saw the intro package with the charity foundation and the kids and giving vests to

kids with cystic fibrosis is like, okay, this has bachelor written all over him. And then he got the edit that he did over Becca and

paradise. And I'm like, gosh, you know, the fact that they showed the Raven conversation with Tia saying, I don't think that he's a good fit for you. I don't, I think he goes after the it girl.

When they show that, I'm just like, yeah, there's no way they're making Colton the bachelor. It just seems way bizarre that they would air that but then make him the bachelor.

Like they're putting the doubt in people's minds about Colton sincerity through Raven. And yet, and then we see Colton flip flop what four, five different times from last January from when he saw Tia and flew out to L.A. for the first time when they saw each other till this June and

paradise, he literally flipped on her what five or six times, you know, like I get when people, I totally understand people saying this guy doesn't seem like he's ready to commit.

He seems to immature. I get that like, I'm not going to, I'm not going to dispute those points. I'm I grumb and agreement like I don't think he's ready to settle down and get married. I'm sure I'm sure he landed this season and engagement. But do I think he's going to marry the final girl he chooses? No.

But the thing is, I, I'm one of these people that's not going to pitch about it. I don't care. It's like, okay, great. He's the bachelor. Like, you saw the reaction on Twitter with, oh my God, why did they choose Jason and Blake Jason Blake with the two best options and they chose somebody that nobody wants? Well, apparently that's not going to be the case because come January 2019. You're going to see the show draw six six and a half seven million viewers in episode. So just because you don't like the
