I think we as a people have been through some trauma, to say the least. Trauma that we have not known

in our lifetimes, and I'm talking about people my age or even older and certainly younger.

Not only we have this pandemic that's created the biggest fear, worry, anxiety since World War II.

But we have experienced a very bruising, if not dislocating, election season.

And so as you're under Shepard, those of you have been around here for a long time, you know that I have nothing to offer

from me. The only thing I have is in the Word of God. And I've always, in all occasions,

have taken you to the Word of God to see what the Word of God would say to us.

And certainly in uncertain times, that is the case. And to say that we

as a nation are divided is the most understatement of the year. And I can tell you truthfully,

my heart breaks when I read in the press about family members who don't talk to each other.

I just read a news article about a young woman who said to her mother, you're not my mother anymore.

And the anger that is taking place over politics and the election, it breaks my heart literally.

It squeezes it from the inside when I hear this.

In truth, this present crisis is not new.

It has been building up for decades.

Decades has been building up.

As a matter of fact, this present crisis is the title of my new book that will be coming up in the spring.
