then a member of the quorum of the Twelve Apostles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Tonight I want to talk about a special painting that hangs on the wall on the fourth floor of the Salt Lake Temple.

Here it is where the first presence in the Council of the Twelve meet weekly discuss Church Affairs as they

pertain to worldwide structuring and management.

Incidentally, on this fourth floor, the beautiful first presence in Council of the Twelve

room where few, if any, people see this room because it's not available in the Salt Lake Temple to patrons,

but set apart for the holding of meetings of the first presence in the 12.

It's a beautiful room, about 30 feet wide and 50 feet long and has ceiling height of about 12 feet.

It is decorated in soft pastel colors with fixtures and furnishings that are in good taste and practical.

In the front of this room and in the center are three chairs for the first presidency to occupy.

In a semi-circled across the room from them are 12 seats, where the members of the 12 sit.

In this setting of privacy and temple warmth, the various divisions, department, councils, programs,

and other needs of the church are studied, reviewed, and decisions are made.
