Do you ever wonder if there is anything that you can be absolutely sure of anymore?

Well, today's podcast reassures us that God is

trustworthy, reliable, and always keeps his word. When the Bible speaks in terms of

the ways of God I want you to turn, if you will, to Psalm 103,

and I want us to look at a few verses in this 103 song, and let's think about something for a moment and in this hundred and third

Psalm listen to what he says beginning in verse one.

Bless the Lord on my soul and all that is within me.

Bless His holy name.

Bless the Lord, oh my soul, and forget none of his benefits.

Who pardons all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases,

who redeems your life from the pit, and who crowns you with

loving kindness and compassion. Who satisfies your years with good things so that

your youth is renewed like the eagle. The Lord performs righteous deeds and

judgments for all who are oppressed. And then listen to this verse, he made known

his ways to Moses, his axe to the sons of Israel. It's important to distinguish between the two.

What's the difference between the ways of God and the acts of God?

The acts of God, for example, are those things that God does in your life in my life.

The ways of God are the motivations for which he does it.

It's his purpose, his plans, his thoughts, the way he operates in our life. It's one thing to watch acts of

God. It's something else to know why he does it. What is he thinking? How is he

reasoning? Why does he allow this? What's involved in this? What is he trying to say through this? What is the message he wants us to get?
